Directions to the program

［For students arriving at Kansai International Airport］
On Thursday, September 12th, 2024, a bus departing at 1:00 PM will pick you up from the airport.

Please book a flight that arrives in time for this bus. Please use this link to inform us of the flight numbers, arrival and departure times of your round trip to/from Kansai International Airport by Thursday, August 1st, 2024.

［For students departing after the closing ceremony on Saturday, September 21st, 2024］
Buses will be available to go to both JR Sasayamaguchi Station and Kansai International Airport.

• JR Sasayamaguchi Station: Departing at 6:30 PM from The Tamba Sasayama Den-en Symphony Hall
• Kansai International Airport: Departing at 6:30 PM from The Tamba Sasayama Den-en Symphony Hall

Note that it takes about 2 hours to get to Kansai International Airport, and you will arrive around 9:00 PM. Please book a flight that allows you plenty of time to spare.

［For students departing on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024］
For those going to JR Sasayamaguchi Station:
A microbus will be available from Unitopia Sasayama.

Please decide on your departure time and make a reservation at the front desk of Unitopia Sasayama by the day prior.

For those going to Kansai International Airport:
A bus will depart at 9:00 AM. It will take about 2 hours to get to the airport and arrive around 11:00 AM.

Please book a flight that allows you plenty of time to spare.

Note that an additional night at Unitopia Sasayama is not included in the course fee and must be paid for separately at the front desk of Unitopia Sasayama.

Visa

Depending on nationality the student must obtain appropriate visas in order to enter Japan to participate in the TSIVMC. Should an invitation letter and/or any other document be required for the visa application, please contact TSIVMC Executive Committee.

Insurance

The students are responsible for their own insurance. This includes coverage for health care, injury, loss of or damage to the instrument, luggage, or other personal belongings in case of accident, fire, or theft during travel and during their participation in the TSIVMC.
